OPSTART TIL K-TOWN 2013

Så starter vi op med planlægningen af dette års K-Town festival. Vi skal have kickstartet de mange forskellige grupper der er med til at gøre festivalen til en fantastisk oplevelse - derfor inviterer vi dig der har lyst til at lave Bike Wars, bygge boder, booke bands, lave mad, arrangere workshops, male bannere, tegne plakater, mixe drinks, lave lyd, skrabe penge sammen, lægge budgetter - eller hvad du nu kunne finde på at bidrage med!

Datoerne for dette års festival er lagt 20-24 Juni 2013

  1. Opstartsmøde holder vi SØNDAG D. 2/12 KL. 15:00 i Caféen i Ungdomshuset. Her vil der blive nedsat grupper og lavet en arbejdsplan På mødet bliver det også besluttet om torsdagen (20/6) skal tages i brug eller ej.
  2. Første bookingmøde. SØNDAG 9/12 kl. 16:00 i Caféen i Ungdomshuset. Her bliver der lagt en plan for bookingprocessen og fulgt op på sidste år.
  3. Samlet møde TIRSDAG 15/1-2013 KL. 19:00 i Caféen i Ungdomshuset. Her samler grupperne op på hvad der er blevet arbejdet på.

DATES FOR NEXT YEARS FESTIVAL

The 2013 edition of our festival will take place from June 20th-23rd. At the moment we haven't decided if we will do something on the Thursday or not, but the festival will take place this weekend plus/minus on day and will at least include friday + saturday + at least one more day.

This years festival is now over, and what a blast it was!
Tons of people showed up, and everything from concerts to bikewars went very well.

WELCOME TO THE FESTIVAL!

It has stopped raining, and we're ready to start up this years edition of our punk-festival, K-TOWN HARDCORE FEST 2012! Get your asses to Ungdomshuset, first band is up at 20.00 and will be Dogmatist (dk)!

ANNOUNCEMENT

It has come to our attention, that a group of swedish punks in Gothenburg has decided to act sexist, threatening and violent towards parts of the city's political and feminist punk-scene. The actions taken by this group includes creating a Facebook-page called "Göteborgs Feminister behöver ett rejält kok stryk & en jävla massa kuk!!". Threats, pictures and plans are spread, which is in no way acceptable. In this Facebook-group are also included a group of active swedish neo-nazis. This is also unacceptable, and people communicating with this sort of far right-wing groups will be considered a security risk, and will therefore not be welcome at our festival.

By sharing this with you, we want to show solidarity with the political and feminist punk-scene in Gothenburg, and take a clear stand against those, who are sexist, and use threats and violence against our comrades. People actively using the Facebook-group and known offenders towards our swedish comrades will therefore not be admitted to our festival.

We hope you all support and understand this important issue.
